Employment Services
- have job search resources and information
- support applications to Better Jobs Ontario (training funding program)
- offer workshops and training – like job searching, resume building and WHMIS
- can offer assisted services – like assisted job search and on-the-job training
- supports people that are unemployed and/or receiving social assistance
Are you a practitioner and want to make a referral to Employment Services? If so, referring is easy. A formal referral form isn’t needed.
A formal referral can be any of the following
- In-person referral (client visits the program)
- Intake appointment booked
- Direct contact by email, phone, text, etc.
- Targeted outreach presentation
