Career Pathways

The Adult Basic Education Association (ABEA) has partnered with local learning networks and planning boards to develop a career pathways tool.  The online tool features in-demand jobs in 10 sectors in the Hamilton – Niagara – Grand Erie region.

Career Pathways Tool – select your region

Grand Erie

Career Pathways will help job seekers explore a range of entry-level and mid-level opportunities.  It will give users information about the job, what skills they need and even what training is required to advance to a mid-level position.  There will also be current, local job opportunities to explore.

Career pathways will help employers attract and retain staff.  Adult education practitioners and employment counsellors can use the tool when assisting clients with career planning.

You can check out the tool or check out this short video.
